We re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with proven experience building, driving, and operating cloud services at a deep technical level. This is a hands-on role suited for engineers eager to build in distributed systems.

Responsibilities
As a member of the OCI Platform Service team, you will partner with product and other engineering teams to define, design, and deliver cross-functional solutions across a suite of services responsible for the successful and secure operation of OCI cloud services. You will write code to build and run these services, deliver customer-focused outcomes, operate services in production, troubleshoot issues, and support our customers.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of software development experience.
Strong coding skills in Java, or similar OO language.
Proven experience delivering features/services across the full SDLC.
Working knowledge of large-scale, distributed services; familiarity with cloud concepts is a plus.Experience operating production services (on-call/incident response exposure preferred).Systematic problem-solving, clear communication, strong sense of ownership and drive.Foundational design experience able to contribute to component designs and reviews (not required to be an architecture expert).Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile environment.
