Role Overview: The OCI Infrastructure Delivery Engineering team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is focused on developing services and tools to facilitate the expansion of compute and network capacity. As a Software Engineer in this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining services that support OCI's growth across various regions, including the construction of data centers for Open AI under project Stargate. You will have the opportunity to work in a greenfield development environment with autonomy to innovate and collaborate with existing systems seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable services for managing OCIs physical infrastructure. - Develop tools to optimize the planning, deployment, and decommissioning of physical assets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with existing OCI systems. - Drive innovation in infrastructure automation and efficiency. Qualifications: - Experience in designing and building distributed, scalable cloud services. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Go, or Python. - Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for automation. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and networking concepts.
