Senior Medical Writer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Medical Writer with 5-10 years of experience to join our team at Syneos Health, contributing to the development of high-quality medical content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and editing medical documents, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Develop and edit medical documents, including clinical trial protocols, informed consent forms, and patient brochures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, scientists, and other writers, to ensure consistency and quality of medical content.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex medical information to create accurate and engaging content.
• Review and revise drafts of medical documents for clarity, grammar, and style.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical writing.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on document requirements and timelines.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical writing, with a focus on pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., FDA, ICH).
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style according to audience needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with authoring tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of electronic health records systems is an asset.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, pharmacy, medicine).
