Senior Mechanical Designer

As an experienced Engine Design professional with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for various aspects of design and development. Your role will involve: - Utilizing CAD software such as CATIA, NX, and Creo to create detailed models of engine components. - Performing simulations to predict component behavior under different operating conditions and optimizing the design accordingly. - Demonstrating deep knowledge of ICE, PHEV, MHEV, and BEV engines. - Producing prototypes using techniques like 3D printing or CNC machining for design validation. - Conducting rigorous tests on prototypes to ensure performance and identify any potential issues. You will also be involved in the production process, which includes: - Sheet Metal Bending. - Casting: - Creating main components like the engine block and cylinder head through processes like die casting and sand casting. - Machining: - Using machine tools to refine cast components to meet dimensional tolerances through operations like drilling, milling, and turning. - Engine assembly: - Assembling various engine components such as pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, valves, and the timing system. - Hydroforming. - Thermoforming.
