Mechanical Engineer having 4 to 8 years' experience in detailed engineering of Combustion engineering equipment/power plant equipment.

• Lead mechanical design projects for furnaces, including conceptualization, detail engineering, and documentation.
• Conduct combustion calculations to optimize furnace performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards for static equipment design (heat exchangers).
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers on mechanical design principles.
• Detailed engineering and planning for Furnace system manufacturing equipment, Accessories like Fan, Pump, burner, air damper, etc along with non-pressure part of the power plant.
• Capability in managing on-time support for the proposal preparation, Bill of quantity calculation, and Material Requisition preparation of the equipment.
• Preparation of the Material Requisition, Vendor evaluation, and cost compilation with cost-effective solutions, effective communication with the vendor for on-time support
• Complete detailing knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of different manufacturing, and welding details to prepare the detailed manufacturing drawing.

Skills

• Knowledge of Mechanical design standards like ASME, EN, JIS, IS another international code
• Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, Solid Edge, MS Project, Excel, etc.
• Experience on municipal solid waste combustion systems is an added advantage.
