Job Description: As a Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee warehouse operations, maintain infrastructure, manage inventory, and settle dealer claims within the agreed timeframe. Ensuring timely servicing of customer orders and maximizing operational efficiency are crucial for customer satisfaction. You will play a pivotal role in the supply chain for the parts business, contributing to the smooth serviceability of operations. Key Responsibilities: - Drive and monitor the performance of the warehouse service provider. - Ensure timely servicing of customer orders based on pre-fixed dispatch schedules. - Manage inventory and storage efficiently to maximize operational efficiency. - Implement automation and improvements in warehouse processes to enhance efficiency. - Ensure the inwarding of high-quality material to minimize overall process cycle time. - Manage inventory in adherence to specified norms. - Design robust and economical packaging for safe storage and delivery. - Prepare for compliance with IATF 16949 for SPD PVBU. - Monitor the maintenance of warehouse infrastructure. - Strengthen safety practices and initiatives to ensure a safe working environment. - Assess warehouse manpower competence and coordinate training for personnel. - Monitor compliance with direct and indirect taxation norms, collaborating with auditors for periodic audits. - Coordinate with the IT team to maintain/update systems. - Collaborate with the International Business team for material dispatch. - Coordinate with stakeholders for timely settlement of claims.
