As an experienced candidate in managing a medium scale virtualized environment for at least 5 years, you should be familiar with multiple virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, KVM, Azure Local, and AWS Outpost. VMware experience is mandatory, and having experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redhat Openshift / Tanzu will be an advantage. Your good knowledge of cloud technologies and ITIL processes is essential for this role. Your troubleshooting skills in a VMware environment (CLI) and Linux (CLI) are crucial, along with managing vendor escalations. Having basic knowledge of SAN, Storage, and Networking is also essential.
