Job Description

As the ideal candidate for this position, you will serve as the technical-commercial liaison between customers, internal engineering teams, and junior sales staff. Your primary goal will be to drive value-based selling strategies rather than focusing solely on sales volume. You will be responsible for handling complex RFQs, engaging in strategy discussions, and addressing technical queries that may be beyond the scope of junior team members. Moreover, you will take ownership of key accounts and strategic growth areas, emphasizing long-term relationships over day-to-day sales activities. Your key responsibilities will include acting as the technical expert during sales discussions, addressing customer inquiries, aligning specifications, and positioning solutions against competitors. You will provide support to junior sales engineers by reviewing and validating offers and proposals. Additionally, you will be required to develop and present value-based sales arguments, lead strategic customer meetings, collaborate with product/engineering teams to shape customer-specific solutions, and contribute to strategic account planning. To excel in this role, you must possess at least 5 years of technical B2B sales experience, preferably in filtration, process equipment, or technical textiles. You should have the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into tangible customer benefits and demonstrate a track record of closing high-value, consultative deals. Experience in solution selling and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position. In addition to technical expertise, soft skills such as strategic thinking, the ability to engage in conceptual discussions with plant management, and proficiency in technical writing and presentations will be crucial. Your role will also involve monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats, as well as providing regular sales forecasts and updates to senior management.
