Job Description

As a Senior Manager in Strategic Sourcing for Electronics at Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the development of electronic products at EMS, ensuring high quality and efficient electronic manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing electronic products at EMS and overseeing the electronic manufacturing process - De-risking and rationalizing the supplier base as per the sourcing strategy for electronic components - Developing alternate components/sources and working on part approval processes with vendors - Implementing zero-based costing, rate fixation, negotiation, and revision - Utilizing IT tools like SAP and advanced Excel for efficient working - Identifying cost-saving opportunities and leading projects for cost reduction - Demonstrating strong project management skills and fostering good working collaboration with an Agile approach - Applying your sourcing knowledge on local and global distribution for electronic products Qualifications that will make you successful in this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering - 5-10 years of relevant experience in electronic product development and sourcing - Proficiency in project management and IT tools like SAP and advanced Excel - Strong decision-making skills and the ability to collaborate effectively - Knowledge of cost-saving opportunities and experience in supplier base rationalization At Schneider Electric, our values and behaviors, including Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, and Teamwork, form the foundation for creating a great culture to support business success.
