What youll do... About Team:
This role is part of the Walmart Global Tech Product team with a specific focus on building products in the Facilities Management domain(One Reality) for Walmart Digital Facilities organization. Core Service Retail Tech team is responsible for building and enhancing the next generation global Digital Facilities to further enhance our customer experience while reducing cost of maintenance. Walmart has significant opportunity to optimize our operations cost using advanced technology while enabling a rich customer experience and win with Walmart s everyday low-cost philosophy. This role will helping accelerating our Technician platform roadmap and working with the FM business team to drive and measure the impact of our platform related initiatives.
What you will do:
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you ll have the opportunity to
Build, develop and guide a team of high-performing talent for store and the technician space under reality. Participate in technical design ; reviews, Po Cs, Present in ARB. Be accountable for the engineering practices in the team like technical design, CI-CD, code quality, planning ; delivering features Work with business stakeholders, architects, product ; program managers Work with global teams to deliver industry leading capabilities Able to identify ; convey risks ; issues to the leadership and help drive mitigate them. Raise the bar for the team on technology with predictable ; consistent deliveries Good knowledge of Agile practices, Devops Partner with infrastructure teams Roll up sleeves and dive into the code when required.
What you will bring:
Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3-5 years of experience mentoring and leading teams with overall 15+ years experience Proven experience in building high-performance teams and scalable best-practices in SaaS/Online/Enterprise Product engineering organization Excellent logical and problem-solving skills. Experience in Distributed Systems Design for fault tolerance and high availability Experience Message Queue based scalable async architecture Experience in Multi-threading for speeding up computations on multi-core processors Building for as a service model where components are multi-tenant, customizable and can be leveraged across Walmart s business verticals Must have experience in cloud-native distributed application patterns and tools, micro-services architectures and web application frameworks (React, Java, Spring Boot, EDI, Kafka, No SQL DBs), application migrations to any cloud platform. Experience with CI/CD processes and design for high scale, availability, testability and extensibility. Excellent verbal and written communication. Technical Skills Languages Javascript, Java/J2EE, python, Spring boot ; Rest APIs Micro Services Architecture, Event Driven Architectures UI - Java Script, ES6, HTML5/CSS3, Typescript, React Cloud - Azure, GCP Messaging Queues - Kafka, Rabbit MQ Logging - Splunk, Dynatrace Database - Azure SQL, Mongo DB, Cosmos, Elastic Search.

Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 7 years experience in software engineering or related area. 2 years supervisory experience.
