In this role at NTT DATA, as a Senior Manager, Software Applications Development, you will be responsible for directing the design, development, and implementation of new applications and upgrades to meet business requirements. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the successful execution of software applications development projects, advising on infrastructure design based on business requirements, defining project scopes with stakeholders, overseeing the delivery of design requirements to the development team, and managing the implementation of applications until they meet business goals. You will also lead and manage a team of Software Application Developers to achieve team and individual objectives. To thrive in this role, you need to have the ability to interact effectively with senior management and customers, manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget and timelines, possess extended knowledge of multi-technology application design best practices, have a holistic view of technology environments, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and display a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, you should have relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, certifications in programming languages, and Scrum/Project Management certification. Your academic qualifications and certifications should include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or software engineering, certification in programming languages like Java, Perl, Python, C++, and Scrum/Project Management certification. Your required experience should include extended experience in software application development, proven work experience as a Software Applications Development Manager, experience with various software applications, computer software, hardware, and peripherals, as well as experience in managing and leading software development teams.
