Job Description

You will be stepping into a Technical role with People Management experience, requiring a CCNP and above certification, with CCIE being preferable. Your expertise in networking technologies such as routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls, and security will be crucial. Additionally, experience in Data center networking technologies is essential for this role. As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include: - Managing a team that supports a global network 24/7/365 - Being the main point of contact for technology team stakeholders in the United States and Europe - Enforcing production rules and assisting in the development of team members' network and system skills - Ensuring proper escalation, handling, closure, and documentation of issues - Upholding client and internal SLAs regarding Network and System uptime - Managing and troubleshooting L2/L3 unicast and multicast traffic throughout the corporate network - Assisting with the installation and maintenance of hardware - Documenting network physical connections, creating network diagrams, and updating network team wiki documentation - Collaborating with service providers to establish various connections - Managing firewall and VPN connections to remote offices and customers - Providing technical assistance and resolution for network incidents and problems - Working with internal operational teams to resolve problems and implement new environments - Enforcing operational procedures related to incident management and change management - Identifying and troubleshooting performance issues in an enterprise environment - Resolving complex problems independently Position Requirements: - Minimum 3-5 years managing a network team in a global NOC environment - Minimum 7 - 10 years LAN/WAN experience with an emphasis on configuring routers and switches - 5 to 10 years of experience in a large, complex network environment - Experience with Cisco Nexus, Cisco switches, Arista switches, and Avaya/Nortel switches - Strong fundamental knowledge of IP packet capture tools - Experience with Arista and Cisco routing and switching platforms - Understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP routing protocols, PIM multicast, TCP/IP, VLSM, and ACLs - Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills - Fluency in English Education / Certification / Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology - Recommended certifications: Cisco CCNA or higher, Red Hat - Fluency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus Additional Details: This role involves working in a dynamic 24/7/365 production environment, requiring a broad and deep technology knowledge, project and people management skills, as well as an interest in the business side.
