Oversee end-to-end software development, ensuring high performance, scalability, and availability of the platform.
Architect, review, and implement scalable and resilient software solutions using proven architectural patterns with technologies such as C++, Redis, and Lua etc.
Implement caching strategies and enhance system performance using Redis or other in-memory databases.
Develop and optimize complex Lua scripts for high-performance operations with Redis
Design, optimize, and manage relational databases like Oracle and other RDBMS solutions.
Develop and optimize complex stored procedures for high-performance database operations.
Proactively analyse, debug and troubleshoot production issues, uncovering root causes and implementing robust long-term solutions.
Manage and guide teams of 8-10 engineers across junior and mid-level roles, ensuring productivity, skill development, and career growth

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent (4-year full-time course and not distance learning programs)
12 to 15 years of experience in software development and delivery.
Experience with Microsoft technologies like C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, WPF is an added advantage.
Hands-on engineering leader with strong fundamentals in system design, performance optimization, and scalable architecture.
Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with C++ and solid understanding of design principles.
Experience working with Redis or other in-memory data stores for caching and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience using scripting languages such as Lua, particularly for Redis-based operations.
