Job Description

Purpose: Manage and oversee the sales operations in the assigned area of operation Designing plans to meet targets, developing relationships with clients/customers, and evaluating costs for selling products and services. Key Responsibilities Identify and qualify prospective customers for the designated territory. Lead the sale process and engage with the prospects & Customers. Fine tune and present the solution to prospects. Close sales projects leading to achieving sales targets. Liasoning with government utilities/ agencies and corporates. Developing relationships with clients/customers, and evaluating costs for selling products and services. Ensure Timely collection of receivables. Ideal Candidate Excellent relationships skills. Be able to find, maintain and grow profitable relationships. Solutioning mindset with demonstrable abilities to logically interpret a problem and provide solutions. Strong customer focus with perceptive and engaging customer management skills. Have experience and/or knowledge of direct account management. A team player who enjoys working in a dynamic team environment. Experience in industrial Marketing, and dealing with corporate and government clients. Good Personality and ability to meet and engage with top management. Should be a long-term player with proven long term past engagements Sales & marketing experience in a similar role in Thermal Power, Sugar, Cement or Steel Industry Must Have exposure of dealing with customers in Thermal Power Plants. In addition to English and Tamil, must be able to speak in Hindi
