Senior Manager (L5) - Engineer PAT Module

Role Overview: As a Vehicle Testing Engineer at Tata Motors in Lucknow, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle level validation for weight, U&U, COO as per attribute sheet. Your key responsibilities will include preparing the Vehicle Test Plan, Test Summary Sheet, Test report, FIR, and issue logging in ODT MINT for timely Engg Sign Off completion. You will also be coordinating with internal departments like PAT, Project, Shop, and Instrumentation, as well as external entities like COC, VI, and Service. Additionally, you will be involved in ICR idea generation to contribute to the overall project success. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare Vehicle Test Plan, Test Summary Sheet, Test report, FIR, issue logging in ODT MINT for timely Engg Sign Off completion - Update testing status including benchmark vehicles regularly - Prepare test vehicles, conduct subjective evaluations, and obtain sign off with CoC and Project team before test initiation - Coordinate with Project team, shop, and designer for Proto/part availability based on unexpected issues observed in Validation - Collaborate with Project team and designer to address and close issues highlighted during validation and development tests Qualification Required: - Minimum Qualification & Specialization: BE-Mech - Skills: - Time management for Validation completion as per work guideline and ESO documentation as per WCQ standardization - Driving commercial vehicle - Domain Knowledge: - Must have: Vehicle aggregate knowledge, Excel, Word, PPT for documentation, working in PLM - Preferred to have: Any other simulation software like Delmia, Design software like Pro-e, Catia - Work Experience Details: Experience in vehicle level testing, Maintenance, Troubleshooting - Minimum Yrs of Experience: 4 years Additional Company Details: No additional details provided in the job description.
