Senior Manager (L5) - Digital Solutions (NVH Simulation)

As a Vehicle NVH Simulation Lead at our company, your role is critical in ensuring the success of digital processes in overall product development. You will have a significant impact on design and development activities, vehicle subsystem & system design, digital validation capability roadmap execution, and timely delivery of project milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage NVH digital validation activities, including resource allocation and ensuring quality deliverables - Assure robust and optimized design through simulation techniques - Track, monitor, and deliver within program timeframe - Provide technical mentoring for NVH digital validation activities in vehicle development program - Support investigations related to performance lapses identified during physical validation - Conduct simulation activities to assess design concepts and what-if scenarios - Support technology roadmap by identifying department needs and maximizing benefits from current tools - Drive method & process development as per the roadmap - Conduct pilot projects to demonstrate method capabilities & benefits - Drive process automations to productionize new capabilities Qualifications: - Master of Engineering in Mechanical - 3+ years of relevant experience in automotive vehicle subsystem and system evaluation and optimization for NVH structure-borne and airborne assessment through digital simulation techniques - Sound knowledge of mechanical and automotive engineering - Proficiency in FEM, BEM, SEA, MBD, and 1D simulation tools - Hands-on experience with tools like NASTRAN, Hyperwork, AVL Excite, Simcenter, GT Power, VA1, etc - Working knowledge of material science, vehicle packaging, and product development process - In-depth understanding of vehicle NVH domain, subsystems, and systems dynamics Additional Details: You will be expected to demonstrate Tata Motors Leadership Competencies such as Customer Centricity, Developing Self and Others, Driving Execution, Leading by Example, Leading Change, and Motivating Self and Others.
