Senior Manager Indirect Procurement

Job Description Senior Manager Indirect Procurement operations based out of SSC, Gurgaon

Role requirement: 100% work from office mode.

Essential skills: knowledge of Hospital Consumables procurement, Ability ot handle large and diverse team, knowledge of service delivery from offshore location, strong team management skills, effective verbal and written communication skills.

Role Objective: Candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing the procurement of Hospital consumables Category for Aster DM Healthcare across GCC countries including UAE and Qatar
• Managing negotiations and supplier engagements for consumables category
• Creating Consumables category plan based on spend analysis data
• Stakeholder management periodic meeting with key stakeholders and publishing and tracking all action items
• Ensuring all recurring transactions are covered under contract and increasing spend managed through contracts
• Managing department KPIs and SLAs wrt closure timeline for all requests
• Managing operational Procurement for Aster group, GCC.
• Ensuring PR-PO conversion at SSC Gurgaon within defined TaT agreed with business
• Effective team management and allocation to work based on available bandwidth
• Managing Hospital Consignment process
• Periodic publishing of all closures and highlighting issues effective team operations
• Stakeholder management across verticals.
• Procurement KPIs and SLAs adherence as agreed with business teams
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboards reporting
• Team load management and ensuring adherence to procurement policy
• standardization of product specifications, to drive catalog creation through rate cards.
• Coordination with onsite team for data or system specific requirements
• maintaining a close working relationship with all business functions, SCM Operations, SCM Enablers and SCM Logistics to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
• work with both in-house teams and suppliers to meet the required efficiency norms and service delivery SLAs.

Skills required:

1. Bachelor’s Degree and MBA (preferred)

2. Minimum of 10 years of operational procurement experience

3. Expertise in handling large and diverse team

4. Knowledge of recent trends and development in Healthcare industry .

5. Experience of implementing change in a complex environment, working with a wide range of stakeholders

6. Must be able to work under minimum supervision, independently, dynamic & fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.

7. Project management skills

8. Should have reporting/dashboarding experience

9. Ability to handle and manage conflict situation

10. Good Oral and written communication

11. Excellent Excel and powerpoint skills

12. Resourceful with positive attitude and able to work independently.

13. Knowledge of ERP system (Oracle)
