Job Description

As an Associate at Morgan Stanley Fund Services, your role is crucial in delivering top-notch services to both the Fund Manager and investors. Your responsibilities include: - Providing day-to-day investor services with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. - Keeping line management informed of operational issues. - Ensuring effective daily handover of processing between Mumbai, Westchester, and Dublin. - Participating in global projects such as system enhancements and data conversions. In terms of service delivery, your key accountabilities will include: - Monitoring receipt of client and investor information through fax and email. - Processing investor activity accurately and in a timely manner. - Opening new investor accounts in compliance with fund documentation and regulations. - Handling investor transactions and queries professionally. - Providing investors with necessary documentation and statements. - Producing MIS and operational reports to support team operations. - Maintaining organized fund records and adhering to Service Level Agreements with clients. Compliance is a crucial aspect of this role, requiring detailed knowledge of fund offering documentation, regulations, and internal policies, particularly focusing on Anti-Money laundering controls. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - 7+ years of work experience in financial services, ideally in Investor servicing. - Good administrative and organizational skills, emphasizing accuracy and attention to detail. - Ability to work under pressure and manage increased workloads. - Capability to work effectively in a virtual team across different time zones. - Proficiency in financial systems and IT tools. - A third level qualification, preferably in a business or numerical discipline.
