Description
As a member of the RRSD Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing peripheral support to the CEO CIB Function and the Group Risk Function. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of activities aimed at supporting the Enterprise Risk Analytics, Traded Risk Management, and Risk & Compliance Reporting teams of the Group Risk. Additionally, the unit is expanding its support to the CEO CIB Office with Credit Portfolio Management. You will be involved in various sub-units under RRSD focused on Enterprise Risk Management, Wholesale Credit and Country Risk Reporting (WCCRR), and more. Your primary responsibility will involve delivering CIB credit risk reporting and Management Information (MI) while working closely with and supporting the group CIB credit risk team. The reports you generate will be utilized by various stakeholders including risk managers, committees, senior management, regulators, and other internal parties. You will be engaged throughout the reporting process, from requirement gathering and data evaluation to testing, insights generation, and report enhancements. To excel in this role, you should possess wholesale credit experience, effective stakeholder interaction skills, and excellent communication abilities. You will be detail-oriented, curious for insights, and confident in challenging the status quo. The role offers opportunities for developing a broad understanding of risks, enhancing soft skills, and fostering growth through best practices and innovation. Your responsibilities will revolve around understanding reporting requirements, ensuring efficient risk reporting processes, delivering quality reports with analytical insights, building relationships with stakeholders, and continuously improving risk data quality. You will collaborate with various teams on projects and initiatives, contribute to credit risk, country risk, and regulatory reporting processes, and focus on recruitment, team diversity, and talent retention within the unit. Moreover, you will work towards enhancing the control environment in credit risk reporting, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness in regulatory reporting, and participating in internal and external audits. Upholding the highest standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, and business conduct will be paramount in your role. Your role-specific technical competencies will include managing conduct, risk, and people, along with proficiency in FM products, problem-solving skills, and tools like SAS, Python, and SQL. Your analytical mindset, communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines, and solve problems will be crucial for success in this role. If you are a Postgraduate or possess a professional qualification with 7/10/13+ years of experience in the Risk domain, have strong CIB product knowledge, understand risk management, and hold familiarity with PRA regulations, we encourage you to apply.
