Job Description

As a candidate for the position, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the finance, marketing, and sales teams to drive the growth of brands and fulfill all analytics and forecasting requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Forecasting categories and offtake monthly in a rolling forecasting cycle conducted four times a year. - Building regression models and utilizing coding software/tools to enhance forecasting/triangulation capabilities. - Proactively identifying category and market trends to assess their impact on category forecasts. - Triangulating external sources with internal sales data (Nielsen, Kantar World Panel) to identify monthly opportunities and present findings in commercial reviews. - Identifying growth opportunities through promotion analysis, SKU analysis, and other lead analytics work. - Collaborating with the Area team on area lead analytics projects. - Training internal teams on internal tools such as the Power BI tool for data visualization. In terms of core job responsibilities, you will be expected to: - Work closely with finance and marketing to forecast categories and offtakes, triangulating with internal sales data for monthly share projections at various levels. - Provide data-driven insights monthly to drive business growth by leveraging Nielsen/KWP data. - Support ROI measurement and pricing studies conducted using Market Mix models by external agencies. - Collaborate with research counterparts to integrate research insights and analytics views for various brands on a monthly/quarterly basis. - Develop models to enhance forecasting capabilities. - Monitor competitive activities closely to facilitate prompt actions by teams. - Work with the PA regional team on all regional analytics MI requirements for India. - Validate/enhance insights through field visits based on data understanding. - Triangulate internal and external metrics for comprehensive analysis. - Develop channels reporting and integrate with read channels. In terms of qualifications, you should possess: - Post Graduate degree in stats/Maths, finance/marketing with a focus on Marketing/Consumer Insights, CPG/Consumer Health Care/Consulting/Agency in Marketing/Consumer & Market Insights. - 10-12 years of experience in insights/analytics on both agency and client sides, with expertise in Nielsen and Kantar World Panel data usage. - Strong business analysis skills with the ability to draw clear conclusions from multiple data sources. - Proficiency in Excel, Python, and Power BI tools. - Exposure to analytics techniques like Market Mix models and Pricing studies. You are also required to have completed analytics courses and possess knowledge of Python for this role.,
