Senior Manager - Actuarial Reserving

You will be part of a well-established and growing team supporting the Reserving & Reserve Reviews Process. As a Manager/Senior Manager with 10-12 years of experience in P&C Insurance business and a Fellow Reserving Actuary, you are expected to work closely with onshore actuaries, analyze changes in Actuals vs Expected, prepare audit reports, validate reserving assumptions, summarize final exhibits, handle ad-hoc requests, guide junior team members, and manage stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with onshore actuaries throughout the reserving process, including data preparation, strategic analysis, and reconciliations. - Analyze and document reasons for changes in Actuals vs Expected by Region and Line of Business monthly and quarterly. - Prepare Internal & External Audit reports and relevant Exhibits by aggregating data from multiple sources semi-annually. - Validate Reserving Assumptions and selections in ResQ. - Summarize Final exhibits like Triangles, Ultimates, and Loss ratios for Re-Insurance treaty sign-off. - Handle ad-hoc requests from onshore and work independently. - Guide and support junior team members, assist in training needs, and promote a learning culture. - Manage and assist a team of analysts in performing tasks and managing stakeholder relationships. Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical skills in large data and reserving techniques. - Fellow Actuary from IAI, IFoA, SOA, or CAS. - Experience in P&C insurance preferred. - Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, SQL, VBA. Knowledge of BRIO, Qlik, ResQ, R, Power Query/Power BI is advantageous. - Preferably a Graduate/Postgraduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics/Metrics. - Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively, foster stakeholder interactions, and focus on continuous learning and career growth. - Innovative approach towards adding value to existing processes.
