You will be part of a well-established and expanding team supporting the Reserving & Reserve Reviews Process in Bengaluru, India. As a Manager/Senior Manager with 10-12 years of experience in the P&C Insurance business and a Fellow Reserving Actuary, you will play a crucial role in this team. The ideal candidate should possess a self-learning attitude and excel in teamwork. Your responsibilities will include closely collaborating with onshore actuaries during the reserving process, involving tasks such as data preparation, strategic analysis, and reconciliations. You will be responsible for analyzing and documenting the reasons for changes in Actuals vs Expected by Region and Line of Business on a monthly and quarterly basis. Additionally, you will prepare Internal & External Audit reports, along with relevant Exhibits, by aggregating data from various sources semi-annually. Validating Reserving Assumptions and selections in ResQ, summarizing Final exhibits like Triangles, Ultimates, and Loss ratios for Re-Insurance treaty sign-off, and handling ad-hoc requests from onshore with minimal assistance are also part of your role. Furthermore, you will guide and support junior team members, actively contribute to developing the team's training needs, and manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Your qualifications should include a strong understanding of analytical skills on large data and reserving techniques, along with being a Fellow Actuary from IAI, IFoA, SOA, or CAS. Experience in P&C insurance is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, SQL, VBA, and experience with BRIO, Qlik, ResQ, R, Power Query/Power BI, would be advantageous. Ideally, you should be a Graduate/Postgraduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics/Metrics, with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions, a collaborative mindset, a passion for continuous learning, and an innovative approach to enhancing existing processes are key attributes required for this role. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications Strong knowledge of analytical skills on large data and reserving techniques . Fellow Actuary from IAI , IFoA , SOA , or CAS .
