Senior Magento Developer

As a Magento Developer, you will be expected to have a strong understanding and practical experience in working with both Community and Enterprise editions of Magento. Your expertise in the Magento platform, combined with a solid background in the LAMP stack (PHP, MySQL), will be essential for this role. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and JQuery is required. You should possess knowledge in PHP5, Cake PHP, CodeIgniter, or Zend Framework. Familiarity with Magento backend development, including building custom extensions and modules, is crucial. Additionally, you must excel in Magento frontend development by creating Custom Themes and integrating themes effectively. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the performance of existing Magento stores, integrating the latest web features, and implementing off-the-shelf as well as custom Magento extensions. Collaborating with front-end web designers to execute custom Magento templates will be part of your daily tasks. Experience in Magento Module Development, Magento Theme Integration, Customization, and Extension Development is highly valued. A strong understanding of Core PHP and the ability to develop and resolve conflicts with extensions are essential. Proficiency with at least one framework like Zend, Yii, or CodeIgniter is a plus. Your role will also involve database management and design, focusing on data normalization, foreign key constraints, and indexes. Knowledge of open frameworks such as CodeIgniter, XML, SOAP, REST, or Google Maps will be advantageous in this position. By demonstrating your skills and efficiency, non-certified developers will have the opportunity to become Magento Certified.
