Senior Lead Java Developer

As a Java Developer at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), your role involves programming and designing various software applications and modules for cloud platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and optimizing databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies - Implementing unit tests and integration tests to ensure software functionality - Contributing to the creation of robust and fault-tolerant software designs - Providing technical support to operations or other development teams - Creating and maintaining user documentation for assigned software - Reviewing the work of peers and junior developers - Providing feedback on application performance - Participating in project planning and analysis sessions - Demonstrating software and developing using accepted development processes Your qualifications and skills should include: - In-depth knowledge of software development in Java and database design on cloud platforms like AWS - Experience in Agile methodologies is desirable - Ability to adapt traditional approaches to solutions and reuse them in different circumstances - Proficiency in understanding complex software development skills Additionally, as an experienced professional, you will lead routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. You will provide recommendations to department objectives and goals, offering cost-optimized solutions with better performance. You will engage with middle management on functional matters and may train or mentor team members.
