Senior Lawyer

As a Real Estate Legal Advisor, your role involves having a comprehensive understanding of local, state, and central laws related to land, property, and real estate transactions. Success in this position means effectively conducting due diligence of properties/lands, drafting various legal documents, maintaining transaction records, and handling both litigation and non-litigation matters. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all real estate transactions of the company comply with legal requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Knowledge of local, state, and central laws pertaining to land, property, and real estate transactions. - Conducting Title Due Diligence by thoroughly reviewing revenue documents and legal searches of properties/lands. - Drafting various agreements, contracts, and legal documents such as MOUs, Sale Deeds, Conveyances, and Leave and License Agreements. - Reviewing and updating legal documents for ongoing real estate transactions. - Handling litigation matters by drafting Plaint, Written Statement, Writ Petition, Affidavits, and representing the company in court. - Demonstrating expertise in both Litigation and Non-Litigation matters. Job Requirements: - Minimum 12 years of experience with a law firm/developer. - Real estate background with knowledge of property laws, transactions, and revenue documents. - Proficiency in drafting and strong command of the English language. - Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB). - Fluency in Marathi (Written and Spoken). - Location requirement: Mumbai-based candidates only (Outstation candidates need not apply).
