Senior Java Software Engineer

As a Senior Java Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for utilizing your strong Java and J2EE background, along with your experience in Multi-Threading, Exception Management, and Use of Collections to contribute to the success of our projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a strong Java and J2EE background with 5-7 years of experience. - Utilizing your working experience in Multi-Threading, Exception Management, and Use of Collections. - Applying your knowledge of working with application aspects such as Caching, Asynchronous APIs, and Logging. - Working with web application frameworks like Spring Boot or Dropwizard. - Ensuring effective Unit Testing using tools like Junit & TestNG. - Understanding relational databases, RESTful services, and build tools like Maven & Gradle. - Knowing when and how to mock using frameworks like Mockito/Power mock. - Understanding message queues such as ActiveMQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ. - Proficient in version control tools like Git and Bitbucket. - Experience with Agile/Scrum, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Static Code Analysis, Jenkins, and SonarQube. - Taking ownership of technical solutions and meeting technical expectations of deliverables. - Strong communication skills to articulate technical designs and concepts. - Exposure to cloud and containerization would be beneficial. - Hands-on experience in application development in an enterprise setup. - Understanding of Distributed Application Architecture.
