Job Description

As a member of the global banking technology team, you will be primarily involved in modernizing Post-Trade & Custody platforms through the implementation of microservices, Kafka streaming, and event-driven architecture. Your main role will be to design and construct scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Kotlin as part of a significant digital transformation initiative. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enhance backend systems utilizing Java and Kotlin - Construct REST APIs and incorporate microservices within a cloud-native architecture - Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality, production-ready code - Collaborate effectively with Agile delivery teams across the globe - Engage in system design and architecture discussions - Provide support post-deployment and actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in backend development using Java (Java EE) and Kotlin - Proficiency in the Spring Framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.) - Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices - Knowledge of Relational Databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle - Proficiency in tools like Git and JIRA - Experience working with UNIX/Linux operating systems - Strong problem-solving and communication skills Additional Company Details: The company is based in Pune, India and operates within the BCM Industry.
