Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and building highly scalable, loosely coupled, event-driven, distributed systems. Your expertise in Java and experience with building systems using Kafka, both on-premise and in the cloud, will be crucial in guiding the team towards adopting Agile processes and best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Guide the team in adopting Agile processes and practices - Foster an engineering mindset within the team - Lead by example in software development, testing, TDD/BDD, DevOps, and cloud technologies - Advocate for the adoption of DevOps best practices, tools, and technologies - Develop systems using Java8/11/17 and technologies like Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture - Utilize messaging services, preferably Kafka, in your projects - Deliver products/services in the cloud, specifically AWS or Azure - Demonstrate accountability for a production service and contribute to its build - Lead technical teams through change - Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills - Apply your knowledge of Architecture and Design Patterns - Stay informed on current technology architectures and approaches such as Event Driven Design, Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing & CQRS **Qualifications Required:** - Hands-on experience as a Senior Software Engineer - Proficiency in Java8/11/17 Development - Familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture - Experience with messaging services, especially Kafka - Previous work with Cloud platforms like AWS or Azure - Understanding of BDD/TDD practices and implementation - Familiarity with DevOps best practices and tools like Dockers, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform You will be based in our vibrant office locations in Bangalore, Pune, or Indore.
