Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development & Design

• Design, develop, and maintain

  scalable microservices

  using

  Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring WebFlux

  .
• Build and expose

  REST APIs

  ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
• Develop solutions leveraging

  event-driven architectures

  with

  Apache Kafka

  .
• Ensure high-quality code with

  unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)

  and best practices.

• Integration & Database Management

• Work on

  system integration projects

  , including

  web services

  (REST, SOAP) and

  integration platforms

  .
• Collaborate on

  WebMethods

  -based integrations (highly desired).
• Develop and optimize queries for

  SQL, DB2, Oracle

  , ensuring efficient data handling.

• Agile & Delivery

• Work within an

  Agile/Scrum team

  , actively participating in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, QA, DevOps) to deliver solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education

  : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Experience

  : Minimum

  7+ years of hands-on software development

  experience in enterprise-level applications.

• Technical Skills

  :
• Strong expertise in

  Java 17+

  and

  Object-Oriented Programming

  .
• Proficiency in

  Spring Boot, Spring MVC, WebFlux, REST API development

  .
• Experience with

  Apache Kafka

  and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with

  databases

  (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Familiarity with

  WebMethods integration platform

  (highly desired).
• Experience with

  unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

  .
• Exposure to

  JavaScript/Angular and Python

  is a plus.
