Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Software Engineer at our company, you will have the following responsibilities: - Engage with product management to understand the product requirements and create technical specs. - Produce high-level and low-level designs which include component diagrams, sequence diagrams, technology choices, API specs, Database schemas. - Conduct periodic code reviews with scrum teams to ensure the right product is being built. - Perform regular security reviews and design reviews of your peers. In terms of leadership, you are expected to: - Be transparent and have a growth mindset. - Possess great communication skills. - Be open-minded, collaborative, and able to drive by influence. - Ability to obtain information from Product Owners and break down the problem into smaller tasks. - Demonstrate ownership of the projects you work on. Your work experience should include: - Minimum of 6 years of experience in building scalable cloud-native applications. - Proficiency in different AWS tech stacks. - Practice of cloud security, privacy, and compliance. - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related fields. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with mastery in English. - Ability to contribute to design and code reviews and assist other team members in troubleshooting/problem-solving. - Knowledgeable of application performance and resource consumption optimization. - Ability to simplify complex and abstract issues.
