Senior JAVA Developer

As a Senior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for the following: - Write performant, testable, and maintainable JAVA code with at least 6 years of commercial JAVA experience. - Implement best practices and patterns across the implementation, build, and deployment of JAVA services. - Demonstrate extensive experience in the Java ecosystem and related technologies and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring libraries and frameworks, Hibernate, and Maven. - Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) and have a familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD). - Proficient in tools like Git, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Docker, and Jenkins. - Work with RESTful services in microservices oriented architectures. - Have a solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructures, ideally AWS. - Familiarity with NoSQL and relational database management systems, especially PostgreSQL. - Experience in building services within event or stream-based systems using SQS, Kafka, or Pulsar, and CQRS. - Possess a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and software patterns. Qualifications Required: - Able to communicate clearly and accurately on technical topics in English, both verbally and in written form. - Minimum of 6 years of proven commercial JAVA experience. - Knowledge and experience in Java ecosystem, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, TDD, BDD, Git, JIRA, Confluence, Docker, Jenkins, RESTful services, cloud-based infrastructures, NoSQL and relational database management systems, and event or stream-based systems. - Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and software patterns. Nice to have: - Experience with AWS Services such as Lambda, SQS, S3, Rekognition Face Liveness. - Experience with Camunda BPMN.
