Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain new and existing Java-based software modules for our banking and payment service provider customers worldwide
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
• Write reusable code that are optimized for high performance, robustness and scalability for mission-critical systems in both Cloud and on-premise environment
• Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to team growth.
• Resolve problems including bug fixing for the assigned systems
• Troubleshoot the reported problems/errors and coordinate with the testing team

Technical Skills required for this position

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

• 3 to 4 Years

  of hands-on development experience in

  Core Java 8 or higher

  with strong proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful API Development, Database Management Systems, JMS, Tomcat/JBoss, SVN/GitHub and Gradle/Maven

• Experience in leading and managing a small team of developers is mandatory

• Prior experience in Finance Domain (online payment systems) is desirable

Other Skills required for this position

• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills (in English) and interpersonal skills
• Should be willing to take initiative with a positive “can do” attitude
• Should be proactive and should have the ability to work and deliver under stiff deadlines
• Should have strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
