Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer Sports/Health domain Data Processing Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Job Type: Full-Time. Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications for processing and analysing sports/health data. This role requires a strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end technologies. You will work closely with our data science and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development (Java & Data Processing) Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance Java-based microservices . Work with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and WebSocket for real-time data processing. Implement asynchronous processing (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for large-scale sports data ingestion. Design and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) for sports/health data. Frontend Development (React/Angular/Vue.js) Develop interactive dashboards to visualize player performance, injury risks, and biometric trends. Ensure responsive UI/UX design for web and mobile applications. Implement real-time data visualization using libraries like D3.js or Recharts. Data Processing & Integration Integrate data from wearable devices, IoT sensors, and medical reports . Implement ETL pipelines and work with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, AWS Lambda) . Optimize AI/ML model integration for predictive analysis. Security & Compliance Implement data encryption, authentication (OAuth2, JWT, SAML) , and role-based access control (RBAC) . Ensure GDPR, HIPAA, and other industry compliance standards for handling health data. DevOps & Cloud Deployment Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP . Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) for automated deployment. Optimize applications for scalability, fault tolerance, and real-time analytics . Knowledge of Kubernetes and Cluster based architecture would be an added advantage. Required Skills and Qualifications: 6 – 10 years of experience in full-stack software development with a focus on Java . Proven experience in microservices architecture , using Spring Boot or similar frameworks. Expertise in designing and managing real-time data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Kafka , Flink , Spark , or RabbitMQ . Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks like React.js , Angular , or Vue.js . Strong background in RESTful API design and implementation. Experience in architecting and optimizing SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases for performance at scale. In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker , Kubernetes ). Proven experience working on real-time data systems in sports or similar domains (e.g., finance, telecommunications). Experience with CI/CD pipelines , automated testing, and deployment strategies. Understanding of data security , encryption, and compliance in handling sports data. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. Nice to Have: Experience working with sports data providers (e.g., Sportradar , Opta , Stats Perform ). Familiarity with sports/health data analytics , statistical models, and predictive algorithms. Knowledge of machine learning and data science workflows in the sports industry. Experience in event-driven architecture and handling complex data models. Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or related technical field. Why Join Us?
