Senior Java Developer Location: Bangalore Job Responsibilities: Understand customer requirements and project KPIs to deliver effective solutions Write clean, well-designed, testable, and maintainable code Define application objectives and functionalities aligned with business goals Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency, distributed enterprise applications with high availability Participate actively in all stages of the software development lifecycle Collaborate with teams to define and envision system features and functionalities Analyze both functional and non-functional system requirements to set clear business objectives Challenge existing system designs with rational and practical improvements Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and bugs promptly Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to system upgrades Mentor team members and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality Engage in design discussions and brainstorming sessions for effective problem-solving Technical Requirements (Must-Have): Strong fundamentals in software development and programming skills Proficiency in Java and familiarity with its ecosystem Experience working with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Play, etc. Basic knowledge of JVM internals, Java Memory Model, and optimization techniques Good understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and clean coding principles Experience with microservices architecture, MVC pattern, JDBC, and RESTful web services Familiarity with design and architectural patterns Strong knowledge of RDBMS like MySQL, with basic exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) Proficient with version control tools like Git Familiar with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Ant Awareness of message queues like Kafka Basic understanding of distributed caches (e.g., Redis, Aerospike) Knowledge of CI/CD processes and pipelines Technical Requirements (Good-to-Have): Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Exposure to Java GUI frameworks and basic front-end technologies like HTML and JavaScript Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience working with enterprise-grade applications and cutting-edge technologies Interested?
