Senior Java Developer

Join GlobalLogic as a Java Developer to impact technology solutions with new advancements. You should have a minimum of 6-8 years of software development experience and work closely with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities. Your role will involve developing and implementing an architecture strategy, facilitating team collaboration towards software engineering best practices, and ensuring solutions meet customer needs. You will also be responsible for producing and maintaining high-quality code through code review and frequent defect prevention activities. In this role, you will work closely in small teams to create well-integrated products in short design cycles with good documentation and reusable artifacts. Your experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies will be valuable, and you should be proficient in Core JAVA and Design Principles. Additionally, you should have strong expertise in J2EE with Spring, JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices. Working experience with RDBMS/MySQL databases, documenting processes and code using tools like POSTMAN and Swagger, and proficiency with Azure services are also required. A basic understanding of Caching (Redis) and Search/Index Platform (Elastic Search) is preferred. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining scalable Java applications using Springboot and microservices architecture, setting up systems with Kafka to handle messages seamlessly, deploying and managing applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine the best solutions, and ensuring flawless application performance through rigorous testing and debugging. You will also be expected to continuously improve and optimize application performance, participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
