Senior Java Backend Developer

You will be working as a Senior Backend Developer with a focus on Java technologies for our client. The ideal candidate should possess 5-7 years of experience in backend application development. Your expertise will include working with microservices architecture, RESTful services, and real-time messaging systems like Kafka. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA. You will also be developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices while collaborating with cross-functional teams for deploying backend services. Additionally, working with Kafka for distributed messaging and real-time data pipelines will be a key aspect of your role. Participation in system architecture discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of existing systems is expected. The required skills for this role include hands-on experience of 5-7 years with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. A strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices is essential. Experience with JPA/Hibernate, relational databases, Kafka, and basic knowledge of JavaScript will be advantageous. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools is necessary. You should also have a solid understanding of the full web development lifecycle.
