Role Overview: As a Senior Manager, IT in this role, you will be responsible for being the key business partner and engaging with R&D teams and IT/Digital technology teams. Your main focus will be on understanding, documenting, defining, and recommending the appropriate Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) technology platform for the R&D labs. Your collaboration with R&D business stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring the widespread adoption of the LIMS solution across our labs, thereby shaping how our R&D fuels the New Product Introduction. Key Responsibilities: - Be the single point of contact for R&D business stakeholders in managing and supporting the LIMS implementation for R&D labs - Develop a strategic roadmap for LIMS implementation aligning with R&D's vision and Cell technology evolution - Work closely with R&D scientists, researchers, lab technicians, and senior stakeholders to understand research objectives, lab processes, and LIMS requirements - Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging LIMS technologies, AI/ML trends, and automation solutions for digitizing the R&D labs - Document detailed LIMS business processes, use cases, and workflows in alignment with industry best practices - Support the end-to-end LIMS implementation cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and change management - Drive LIMS user adoption through training sessions, creating training materials, and ensuring seamless onboarding - Act as a LIMS subject matter expert for R&D/Engineering teams, providing technical and functional assistance - Enable seamless LIMS integration with PLM, ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems for smooth data flow - Facilitate LIMS integration with Battery Intelligence Platforms for real-time monitoring and predictive analytics - Collaborate with IT architects and data engineers to design scalable integration frameworks for lab automation - Gather feedback from R&D lab users and drive iterative improvements to the LIMS platform - Establish governance models for LIMS data security, access controls, and regulatory compliance - Monitor LIMS system performance, resolve issues, and enhance functionalities to meet evolving R&D needs - Support change management initiatives to ensure effective adoption of new technologies Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field - Minimum 7+ years of experience in LIMS or Engineering IT tools management or related fields - Strong understanding and knowledge of the Cell/Battery industry - Extensive experience in implementing or managing LIMS applications in industries such as Automotive and Energy Storage - Hands-on experience with LIMS platforms like STARLIMS, ThermoFisher, LabVantage, BIOVIA, Labware, Siemens Opcenter, or equivalent - Knowledge of lab equipment integration with LIMS (e.g., battery cyclers, SEM, GC-MS, ICP-MS, and spectroscopy tools) - Experience with APIs, SQL, and scripting for system customizations and automation - Familiarity with Cloud-based or On-Premise LIMS solutions - Good presentation, leadership, and communication skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements - Ability to plan, organize, and execute IT projects effectively - Effective communication skills with various stakeholders - Adaptability to changing business needs and creative problem-solving skills.,
