Job Description

In this role as a Senior Data Scientist in the Advance Analytics team at Medtronic's Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune, you will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across the organization to utilize company data for driving business solutions. As a part of the Diabetes business, you will play a crucial role in transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. - Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms for solving business problems. - Create processes and tools for monitoring and analyzing model performance and data accuracy. - Utilize software design principles to develop production-ready code. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and deliverables. - Design and conduct experiments to validate models and test hypotheses. - Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders effectively. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong understanding of ML algorithms such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, Gen AI, NLP, and Computer Vision. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python with expertise in writing ML code. - Experience in full-stack web development using FASTAPI, Panel, and React. - Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Spark. - Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLTK, llama-index, Langchain, Lang graph, and MLFlow. - Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques with a strong mathematical background. - Knowledge of feature engineering and model evaluation techniques. - Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, data orchestration tools, and CI/CD with Github. - Expertise in deploying and monitoring ML models. - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.,
