Senior IT Analyst - Engineering Systems

As a Senior IT Analyst - Engineering Systems at Petrofac, you will be responsible for the implementation and operations support of CAD design tools, managing project setup and configurations for commercial off-the-shelf products, and designing solutions for cloud hosting of applications for global and third-party users. Your role will also involve ensuring proper license and inventory management, technical support for application procurement, troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues, and conducting periodic audits on performance of engineering applications and databases. You will provide internal and external audit support to maintain proper license compliance and access controls, deliver knowledge base sessions and trainings for internal and external teams, and build strong relationships with key business stakeholders. Additionally, you will follow the IT demand management process to capture, document, prioritize, and report on ongoing initiatives in alignment with IT policies and guidelines. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in managing the SmartPlant Enterprise Suite effectively in cloud hosting and global workshare environments, as well as managing AVEVA Suite products. Your knowledge and qualifications should include a bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university and at least 7 years of experience in system administration of engineering tools in professional enterprise-level organizations, particularly in the Oil & Gas EPC sector. To excel in this role, you should have experience in implementing and supporting engineering applications from vendors like Hexagon, AVEVA, Autodesk, and Bentley. Training certificates in relevant software applications and technologies are desirable, and exposure to programming, cloud, or Citrix technologies would be an added advantage. Strong skills in time management, prioritization, problem-solving, decision-making, and accurate reporting will be essential for success in this position.,
