Senior iOS Engineer, Client Platforms

As a Senior iOS Engineer in the Client Platforms crew in Pune, India, you will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of projects within the Client Platform domain. You will work closely with Scrum and Kanban teams across multiple geographic locations to analyze functional requirements, design and implement solutions following SDLC principles, and contribute to the technical design of iOS applications. Your primary duties will include coding, testing, and deploying iOS applications, ensuring high-quality code that meets KPIs, collaborating with Product Owners and Business Analysts, and identifying areas for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze functional requirements and design solutions based on SDLC principles - Participate in the technical design of iOS applications within Scrum or Kanban teams - Code, test, and deploy iOS applications or components with local and offshore developers - Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure appropriate design and implementation of solutions - Work with test engineers to minimize defects introduced into QA - Identify areas for continuous change and improvement Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing iOS apps - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics - Expert level understanding of iOS frameworks and development paradigms - High proficiency with the Swift language and experience with SwiftUI - Familiarity with reactive frameworks like RxSwift and RxCocoa - Strong leadership skills in addressing technical challenges - Track record of publishing apps on the Apple App Store - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills - Ability to work under tight timelines using agile methodologies UBS, the world's largest global wealth manager, operates through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
