Senior Interior Designer

Role & responsibilities

Design Leadership

• Lead concept development and design presentations, ensuring alignment with client vision.
  
• Oversee design development from sketches to execution, maintaining design integrity and quality standards.
  
• Define and uphold design benchmarks, aesthetics, and best practices for the team.
  

Project Management

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
  
• Prepare and review project timelines, drawings, and deliverables.
  
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to streamline project execution.
  

Client Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting concepts and securing approvals.
  
• Understand client requirements and translate them into innovative, functional design solutions.
  
• Maintain strong relationships through clear communication and excellent service delivery.
  

Technical Expertise

• Prepare and review detailed working drawings( Furniture Layouts,Lighting Drawings, BOQs, specifications, and material boards.
  
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  
• Provide expert guidance on material selection, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color schemes.
  

Team Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to junior designers and interns.
  
• Foster collaboration between design, architecture, and execution teams.
  
• Encourage creativity while maintaining project objectives and client requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or masters degree in interior design / architecture

  Interior Design / Architecture

  from a reputed institute.

• 4-5 years of experience

  in interior design with at least 2

  years in a senior or lead role

  .
• Proven expertise in handling

  end-to-end interior projects

  (residential, commercial, or both).
• Strong

  creative and conceptual skills

  with a keen eye for detail, finishes, and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in design software such as

  AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, MS Office

  .
• Excellent knowledge of

  materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and market trends

  .
• Strong

  project management skills

  ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver within deadlines.
• Experience in

  vendor and contractor coordination

  for sourcing and execution.
• Exceptional

  client handling and presentation skills

  , with ability to convert client needs into designs.
• Strong
