Senior Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer with strong hands-on experience in modern iPaaS platforms, legacy system migration, and enterprise integration practices. This role involves designing and implementing scalable integration solutions while acting as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with deep technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Role & responsibilities:

• Design & Development
• Design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions using SnapLogic, SAP Integration Suite, ESB and Software AG webMethods.
• Modernize and migrate legacy integrations (including webMethods and custom-built interfaces) to modern iPaaS platforms.
• Build and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs, as well as event-driven integrations using messaging systems like Kafka and Azure Service Bus.
• Architecture & Standards
• Ensure all integrations are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Implement API lifecycle management, ensuring governance, versioning, and access control.
• Business Engagement & Project Ownership
• Engage directly with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather and analyze integration requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and lead development efforts end-to-end, including planning, building, testing, and support.
• Documentation & Support
• Maintain up-to-date documentation including flow diagrams, interface specifications, and operational guides.
• Monitor integration performance, proactively troubleshoot issues, and ensure SLAs are met with minimal downtime.
• Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration frameworks, patterns, and DevOps practices (CI/CD for integrations).
• Stay current with industry best practices in API and integration technology.

Skills:

• Experience in application integration, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong experience with SnapLogic, SAP Integration Suite, ESB and webMethods.
• Proven success in migrating legacy integrations to modern iPaaS environments.
• Advanced understanding of API architecture (REST, SOAP), data formats (JSON, XML), and integration protocols.
• Experience with Azure API Management or similar platforms for API lifecycle governance.
• Working knowledge of enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, and ServiceNow.
• Scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, or Groovy for custom transformations and logic.
• Exposure to CI/CD practices, Git-based version control, and automated testing frameworks for integrations.
• Experience leading integration projects or migration initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise service bus (ESB) patterns and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, and API security best practices
