Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining the Electrical and Instrumentation Department in Bangalore as a Senior Instrumentation Engineer at PM Group, a leading international engineering, architecture, project, and construction management firm. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support to the Ireland Team for Instrumentation Design and Deliverables on various projects as part of a multidiscipline project team - Conduct Instrumentation engineering design services including Instrument Index, I/O Lists / Allocation, Instrument Specification / Data Sheets, Layouts, Cable Containment, Block Diagrams, System Architecture, and Clean Room Applications - Ensure ATEX compliance, including IS calculations, and guide/instruct CAD Designers for Motor wiring schematic and Loop drawings - Prepare E & I Scope of work documentation and all related drawings, as well as tender preparation and cost estimates - Design PLC Panels, conduct FAT, safety interlocks, emergency shutdown systems, fire alarm interfaces, and review system integrator/automation documentation - Mentor junior and intermediate level Instrumentation engineering staff Qualifications: - Hold a Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics/ Electronics and Communication from a reputed University / College - Have 10+ years of formal experience with EPC/ Engineering Consultancy firm - Experience on US/European Projects is advantageous - Proficient in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) & digital project delivery - Possess advanced knowledge of all applicable Instrumentation engineering codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices - Familiar with remote working with International offices/Vendors/Clients - Commercially aware and able to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies for cost-effective solutions for clients Additional Company Details (if available): PM Group is an employee-owned company with a commitment to inclusivity, corporate responsibility, and sustainability.
