Role Description

You'll lead multidisciplinary projects in hydrology, river training, watershed management, flood modeling, and climate-resilient water systems. You'll work closely with both young professionals and experienced team members, fostering an environment of learning, problem-solving, and shared purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hydrological and hydraulic studies on river behavior, floodplain dynamics, and catchment management.
• Apply strong analytical skills to interpret spatial and temporal datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
• Participate in and coordinate fieldwork from ground and aerial surveys to data verification ensuring that on-site realities inform every model and design.
• Provide technical leadership, guide project teams, and ensure seamless coordination among disciplines.
• Demonstrate problem-solving ability and adaptability in managing complex water-related projects.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, technical reports, and knowledge-sharing materials ensuring scientific transparency and institutional learning.
• Be an engaged team member and mentor, encouraging innovation, clarity, and collaboration.

What You Bring

• Strong foundation in hydrology, hydraulics, or water resources engineering
• Proficiency in tools such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE, ArcGIS/QGIS, or Python/R-based modeling
• Experience in managing end-to-end hydrology projects from field data to analysis and documentation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and quality delivery
• Willingness to engage actively in field-based data collection and validation
