Role & responsibilities

Candidate need to carry out following role/responsibilities

• design the hardware using needed electrical/electronic circuit, which will meet the product requirements, safeties, and compliances
• develop the schematics using software ( KiCad, Altium etc.)
• develop circuits using microcontrollers, protocols (I2C, SPI, RS485, USB, Bluetooth), and various other interfaces (Touch UI, Sensors, EEPROM, motors, IOT), power supply, CT/PT etc.
• develop PCBs using KiCad/Altium, prepare BOM, plan material for proto and arrange it
• build the prototype (wiring, assembly), validate it, and fix the errors or issues (if any)
• learn the developed circuits and do needed changes in it
• maintain version and release records of circuits and PCBs
• do documentation related to product, and project
• participate in doing product validation and external certification jobs
• understand the firmware logic and use it in hardware interface
• learn needed skills, technologies, and keep development environment (multi-meter, Oscilloscope, anti-static environment, tool kit, programming tools) up to date
• create reusable circuits, component libraries and estimation norms
• lead junior engineers, do task planning and its tracking
• report work status to reporting person and management
• learn and follow project methodology (V-Model or Kanban)
• good team player, positive, and supportive

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate having passion for developing the hardware and deliver it with ownership sense
• Candidate having experience of developing hardware for medical electronics
• Candidate with 5+ years of hardware design, development experience
• Candidate staying in around Navi Mumbai or Thane
