The ideal candidate should be able to perform hair cutting, styling, colouring and other relevant treatments based on client consultations. You are expected to maintain utmost hygiene in all services, ensure safety of the client, train junior staff and be aware of relevant market trends in hair styling and care. It is essential that you maintain and devise SOP’s for the salon, periodically sterilise equipment and manage inventory of the salon. All paperwork regarding menu creation, inventory list, cleaning checklist and staff attendance needs to be undertaken strictly by you.
You are required to consult with product suppliers, learn about the products, perform tests of the same and stock them for sale. It is also expected of you to learn about various beauty products for sale at the salon, upsell the same to customers by learning about their hair/skin care needs and train the junior staff to achieve monthly sale targets. A diplomas/advanced course certificate is essential with a minimum 5 years of industry experience.
