Senior Golang Developer

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field along with at least 6 years of experience in a modern development stack including Golang, Kafka, and REST API. You should have experience in application design, software development, and testing within an Agile environment. Additionally, familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or Cassandra is necessary. It is essential to have prior experience in designing and developing REST APIs for high volume clients. Knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Github is required, and experience with automated build and test frameworks would be beneficial. Ideally, you would have experience working with American Express Technologies. A strong willingness to learn new technologies and implement them in practical software solutions is crucial for this role. Proficiency in container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred. Familiarity with Atlassian software development and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence is also desired. The ideal candidate should possess a creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
