Senior Golang Developer

As a Senior Golang Developer at NTT DATA in Bangalore/ Noida, Karnataka (IN-KA), India, you will have the opportunity to create and maintain microservices primarily in Golang. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with design and build to solve bugs, improve performance, and add new features. - Containerising services and preparing them for deployment onto a k8s environment using helm charts. - Developing an understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems and applying that understanding in code. - Writing tests with high coverage including unit, contract, e2e, and integration tests. - Version controlling code with git and building, testing, and deploying using ci/cd pipelines. - Building and testing remotely on your machine and deploying to low-level environments. - Participating in the review of team members" code. - Performing demos and joining acceptance discussions with analysts, developers, and product owners. - Assisting in task planning and review as part of a sprint-based workflow. - Estimating and owning delivery tasks to meet business requirements including design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation. In addition, as a candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Demonstrable ability to write Python/Golang and SQL, with a willingness to learn new programming languages and frameworks. - Interest in contemporary approaches to service design, including the use of containers, container orchestration technologies, streaming data platforms, APIs, and in-memory/NoSQL stores. - Familiarity with DevOps-based software development workflow, including building, testing, and continuous integration/deployment. - Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders from various backgrounds. - Keenness to engage with best practices for code review, version control, and change control. - Experience or interest in productionising machine learning technologies.
