Senior Golang Developer

Join our dynamic Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team supporting our Banking and Financial Services business. You will have the opportunity to gain relevant exposure in software systems within the SRE framework and work with various stakeholders to provide monitoring solutions using modern technologies. In this role, you will play a significant role in maintaining the reliability, scalability, and performance of large scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure. You will also be involved in the management of our software systems (from developing, automating, and to improving reliability and performance) in a DevOps/SRE framework. What You Offer: - 6-9 years of experience in software design & development with a strong understanding of software development principles; proficient in Golang, writing testable code. - Good knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS/GCP), and DevOps tools (e.g. GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.) with the ability to handle performance issues, scalability issues, and reliability. - Well-versed in Agile methodologies, and data processing pipelines. It is also advantageous to have a good knowledge of SRE concepts (e.g. SLOs/SLIs, error budget, anti-fragility, etc.). - Knowledge of APM tools (e.g. Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog) and log monitoring tools (e.g. Sumologic, Splunk, etc.) is also desirable. - Collaborative and excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when building playbooks and documentation processes.
