Senior Global Technology Expert - Power Transformers

Role Overview: In this role, you will be a reference Technology expert within the Global Product Group and Power Transformers Factories at Hitachi Energy. You will play a crucial role in supporting Technology programs and R&D projects, reporting directly to the Global Technology Manager for Power Transformers. As part of your responsibilities, you may be required to travel globally up to 20% based on the needs of R&D teams. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a reference expert for global and regional R&D teams, assisting in the execution of yearly roadmap targets. - Provide proposals for the future development of Transformers Technology and evaluate the feasibility of new ideas. - Support investigations of failures remotely or in person. - Conduct training for less senior engineers and ensure proper documentation of knowledge. - Revise and create Technical Standards as needed. - Prepare technical reports for R&D projects. - Assist factories in reviewing and testing complex or novel transformers. - Identify potential Intellectual Property needs arising from Technology programs. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business. - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
